There must be lots of time for fun, and we had fun tonight! It was Ukulele Class night and Gayle had us rocking on the 12 bar blues. Wes sang his version, "The Flu Blues" depicting his vacation week illness in plaintive but rhythmic style. We learned to use the Pentatonic scale for innovating and there were some fun riffs played. Then we were brought down to earth by the difficulties of that old song, "Glow worm" . Surely next week the "Worm" will sound better
Here is the "Teach" in a quiet pensive moment. She is generally a great deal more animated and a ton of fun and musical knowledge.
The gals in the front row were paying attention, ukes at parade rest.
