WHATS IN A NAME?

THE TIME HAS COME to choose a name for the big Bass.  Because the idea came from my days of playing the gut bucket around the beach fire I began to call it "Son of Gut Bucket",  then Pat Madsen called it "Son of a Gut Bucket"  my wife calls it the "Big Bassoon"  but this weekend on San Juan Island, Kirk in the music store asked me what to call it.  I asked him to nominate a name.
His contribution  was "DOBLE"  the Spanish word for double.  I kind of like it,  two strings/Doble, pronounced "dough bley"  not too bad.  I think I will call it "El Doble" or in Spanish "The Double"

So here it is
