WHAT A SATURDAY OF fun and progress.
I practiced my uke lessons for an hour this morning, worked in the shop for an hour and then headed downtown to the hardware store for some dremel sanding disks and then to our wonderful Farmers Market. There I found these delightful elderly buskers just having a wonderful time. I had to share this with you. If you think life has no joy - watch this and think again

These folks are about 70. I think among the best buskers I have ever seen. they were not performing for money but for the joy of it, and the people at the market loved them. What fun !!!
I wandered the market and as i was leaving came upon another busker. you will enjoy this too.

Now loaded with home made bread and other goodies I returned to the workshop to spend the afternoon installing side ports.
Here is where it started. Had to make the cut through the upper bout of the uke. SCARY !
Still lots of sanding to do including rounding the inside in a pleasant fashion. This is going to work and I am pleased.
