THIS PHOTO SHOWS two generations of Concert Pinecone ukes. The completed ones are all sold and after installing the tuners, putting on the strings and honing the actions those babies are off to their patient new owners, One to California, one to Australia, and one will stay here in Bellingham when it is not off to college in Walla Walla. The newest generation are about to get their sides bent. They should be ready in a couple of months, so if you want a really superb sounding uke get in your order. A $100.00 deposit will hold one for you and if yours is the first $100.00 you will get the pick of the litter.
No matter the fate of these new ukes, the following build will be three more tenors. I want to make another "Blonde" I thought she was so pretty, and I have some Australian Blackwood I am dying to try. Lots more of my wonderful AAAAA cedar for tuneful tops, So many ideas, so little time.
