TWO BEAUTIES COMING ALONG

The bindings are all on,  The heel caps are attached, the end strip is fitted, and the first rough sanding has been done.  These two are beginning to show their beauty.

Beth's baritone.  East Indian Rosewood and Redwood.

Nice grain in the East Indian.  A beautiful piece of wood made both back and sides.

Lee's tenor;  Bubinga and bear claw Sitka Spruce.

​The fret boards in both photos are  not yet attached.  First I must fret them.  Maybe tomorrow.

Curly maple neck and binding,  Sitka Spruce soundboard,  All match nicely with the richness of Bubinga.  How about using gold frets??
