This report is for a very patient guy named Trey who is getting a uke for his tenth wedding anniversary.  Sorry it has taken so long Trey, but I am making progress now.  As you requested here are some pictures of your new tenor as it is today.  I hope to bend the sides tomorrow and then things begin to shape up quickly.  Hope you don't mind my sharing your pictures with other viewers.

I wiped a little naphtha on the back to show you the nice figure in this koa.
When this is french polished I think it will be gorgeous.

The back is braced and labeled and ready to go.

the fret-board is Honduran
rosewood, the peg head plate, spalted maple

And here are the sides.  This is really   fine and delicate figure.  I like it a lot.

This is some of my wonderful cedar. It gives terrific sound to ukes.

The pieces are mostly made, now it is just a process of putting them all together.
This neck is Honduran Mahogany, the braces, Sitka Spruce. The butt piece is walnut.
