THIS AFTERNOON I spent a delightful several hours with Patrick Madsen and his wife Liz.  Pat brought along his brand new Moore Bettah tenor that he just received for his birthday.  It is absolutely stunning as you will see in the following photos.  Chuck Moore, the Hawaiian luthier is a true artist as well a being a consummate craftsman.  I could not find a single flaw, the joinery is flawless.  there are no gaps, or covered errors that my eye could detect.  The workmanship equals perfection.  The beauty of the shell inlays of "two feathers" is staggering, the entire instrument is a testiment to good taste, an artistic eye, and impeccable workmanship.  Just look at the pictures!
