TIME GOES BY

REALLY FAST when you are busy.  I have missed making a blog post for a couple of days.  I have been putting the finishing touches on a tenor that is headed for Florida on Monday, and boy does it sound good.  Started playing it after dinner tonite and believe it or not, I did play "When Time Goes By"  what a great old tune, takes me way back.  I also had a hard time putting down Bob's new uke.  Felt an obligation to break it in a little.
But I finally went down to the shop and began planning what would be next.
Well I have two more tenors to glue the bridges on, install the tuners and strings so that will take a bit of time, but I am getting excited about working on these three concerts.  It is time to glue on the braces, and attach the labels on the back.  Then comes the side bending.  I have never bent Australian Blackwood before, hope it is as agreeable as its's cousin Koa.

Really enjoy your blog Brian. My kids like to play our little uke and it really is a happy instrument. I'm learning a lot from your experience and joy in making them.
