Fourteen years ago I came here for a ukulele lesson from shop owner Jason Jerome. I had a soprano that had even given to me. Jason was playing a Kamaka tenor which I lusted after. He wanted $900 for that beauty. I thought ukulele cost $25.00 and could not bring myself to buy it. Instead I found Hana Lima Ai on line and ordered their plan and work book. I built my first ukulele and was hooked. Now I am working on #113 and have enjoyed an amazing learning experience.
This year I returned and Jason's son JJ played my 100th instrument. Got a nice video recorded on my iPhone but Sadly, I cannot seem to post the video of him playing on my computer, perhaps when I get home. We fly home tomorrow and I am eager to get back to the workshop. Two weeks in Paradise is enough.
