THE WHITTLING TIME

This photo says it all.  Another build has begun,  In fact two builds,  #112 for George and # 113 for Rich.  Both will be tenors, the identical copies of the uke now being finished for Stuart Fuchs.   Shavings on the floor as I whittle away at the toners required by the Kasha bracing system.

Here's the rest of the story,  Would not you think that after nearly eighty years of whittling I would have learned not to cut my finger?  Well, it was minor, and very easy to do with those razor sharp Exacto blades.  Shown is one of the tiny tone bars.

Making great progress.  Here are #s 112 and 113 with the bridge brace and a few of the tone bars showing.  A good start!
