With This View. We spent the weekend on San Juan Island with our family. Saturday it rained hard but sunday was beautiful and we boarded the ferry in the afternoon for the ride back to the mainland. The warm light of the setting sun illuminated the islands with its glow and we were struck by the beauty of the twilight, and then we entered East Sound and were dumb-struck by the beauty of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters clad in their new snow. What a joy and a privilege to live in such a lovely place.
