In the workshop in a long-long time. I was visited by my long time friend from Barging in Europe days, John Kroontje and his three charming daughters Fiona, Emma and Grace. I think Grace is six, Fiona the eldest is eleven. What a trio of lovely kids, I was absolutely charmed as we wandered the workshop and learned about making ukes. Then we sat down to some serious education, learning to play the ukulele a little bit. We worked on three chords, C, F, and G-7 and we played "The Crawdad Hole" and "Polly Wolly Doodle" We even took a fling at "Camptown Races" and we were great. What fun! come back again girls for your second lesson.
