'you can never have too many clamps" is an old Luthiers anthem. Clamps of every size and description are needed to reach all of the twelve tone bars and hold them firmly to the sound board while the glue sets. These are the two tenor tops.
And here is Lila's Englemann Spruce Concert sound board getting its full load of tone bars as my cedar top gets its last couple.
The braces for the backs are all on as well. A handy way to clamp down the braces is the "Go Bar" technique, just dowels from the lumber yard bent from the roof to apply clamping pressure. Don't ask me how it got the name "Go Bar" cuz I just don't know, but it works wonderfully well.
