Here they are after a light wet and dry sanding this morning with 600 grit paper dipped in water and detergent. After an hour of drying I put on an application of French Polish (shellac & alcohol) Then late in the afternoon a second application then I stiffed them off with just alcohol, and here they are resting for tomorrow's application. They are really looking good now. The surface is much flatter and shinier. Note the reflection of the concert necks in the top of the first tenor. I will complete the finish by thursday evening and then let the finish harden for the two weeks that I will be on Maui. When get back the bridges and tuners get installed and we are almost done.
