I have made a lot of progress in the last few days. The bindings are all on, The peghead plates are all on , shaped and ready for final sanding. the heel caps are all on, the rough sanding with 120 paper is about done. I guess now it is time to install the frets and glue on the fret board, here they are just sitting loose on their prospective instruments. They are looking good.
I will not be blogging for the next two maybe three nights as I am headed out to sea on the Schooner Zodiac. The weather is looking perfect, wind and sun and cooler temp. Met Dean Viviretto tonight who will be our instructor on this ukulele cruise. A very pleasant guy who can really play. I will be taking lots of pictures and should have some great blogs later in the week- Tune in again on Friday.
