For 34 years the Whatcom Museum has been hosting this History Cruise in July and August on Bellingham Bay. For the last nine years I have been the Historian/Narrator on the cruise. Last year I recruited Doug Starcher to share the duties, and now we alternate week by week. Last night I was at a party at a gorgeous house high on Chuckanut Mountain and had the distinct pleasure of watching the Victoria Star rounding Drydock Point far below. Next week I will be out there.
She is 100 feet long, 25 foot beam and holds 120 passengers. We sail on tuesday nights through August 29th. Come along for a great experience.
