And summer is nigh-

A little sun makes everything shine. even the ukes a-building in my workshop

Delrene's Kasha tenor in the foreground is about ready for a final sanding and then the final few coats of finish that Delrene is going to apply herself.  She is traveling for a few more days, and then I am heading out, so this uke will be finished later in the month. but it is looking awfully good already.

the Baritone in the background is beginning to shine up nicely also.  It has a way to go however,  A few more applications of French Polish, then a gentle sanding, then some more FP.  I am going to really make this baby glow as I am kind of fascinated with the look of the Bubinga.  It blends color=wise beautifully with Spruce.  I am thinking about a Kasha tenor with Bubinga body and Port Orford  Cedar top and a Spanish Cedar neck. might be beautiful and tuneful.  What do you think?

I think you should build a Kasha style Tenor with a bubibga body, Port Orford cedar top, Spanish cedar neck. Radius fretboard, second sound hole, and gold frets. Then, call me when it’s finished. We’ll “negotiate” the price.
