THE FRENCH POLISH IS DONE, it is time to glue on the bridges for these two tenors. First you must find the perfect position and wall the bridge in with tape to mark the spot.
Then with a sharp razor blade you scrape away some of the shellac that you just took weeks to apply.
Then, you apply the glue and with special clamps amd glue on the bridge.
I have already drilled the string holes in the bridge, and through the toneboard and the walnut plate under it. This allows me to insert a wire through the holes so that the bridge will not slip when the clamp is tightened. Tomorrow after putting on the tuners and strings we will see how these babies sing. Thats the really exciting part of the build. I am betting they will sing like canaries.
