Many years ago I began carving all of the Partridge in a Pear Tree figures.  We lived in a home with an espaliered pear tree on the garage wall just outside the back door.
Every Christmas season I would carve a few more, and finally they were all done and hung on the branches of the pear tree.

Seven years ago we moved and we had no pear tree- so I designed a steel tree and attached it to the wall beside our front door.  Today I hung the partridge figures again on their pear tree. They don't seem to mind that it is only steel.

Nadeen, you are too kind. A christmas card with a few photos is a fun idea. maybe next year. Thanks for your kind remarks. These little figures have become a part of our family tradition.

Nadeen, to my surprise, I find I don't have your email address. Send me an email to briangriffin1@mac.com and I will return some photos of the Partridge figures.
