Allen's #178 just made it. I strung it up, installed the pickup and the strap button at 4:45 this afternoon and poured myself a drink to celebrate finishing the last uke of 2021. I will be shipping it to him in California Monday.
East indian Rosewood body and "bear claw" Sitka Spruce soundboard. This is a really good one, a great tone, perfect intonation, Wouldn't mind keeping this one for myself. been playing it for an hour to bring in the new year.
A nice way to finish the year-with a ukulele that I am really pleased with. It has been an insanely busy year in the workshop and doesn't appear that things will slow down.
The last few days in the workshop have resulted in the completion of the six ukes in the background. The two in the foreground will be the first of the 2022 crop.
Two Cedar tops, two Redwood tops and two Spruce tops. Love them all
