Of course you cannot attend events like this without buying something. I found in the vendors room, a fellow selling Japanese woodworking tools. In my experience, Japanese tools are excellent. I bought this "Shinto" fine rasp. I have already tried it out. 'wonderful for final shaping of wood. Very sharp, very delicate. I think I am going to use it a lot. I even got home in time to get a little work done in the workshop. I cut, shaped and glued on a couple of tail blocks. Guess bending the sides comes next.
