I am not quite sure why the "hook" fascinates and pleasures me so. I have looked at so many otherwise lovely ukuleles that simply end their nicely shaped necks with a blunt connection to the body. I think a beautiful instrument deserves more than that, the sweep and grace of the "hook". I love to carve it, feel it and see it.
Here it is, "The Hook", simply a graceful curve, or is that a recurve?. Easy to do if you plan in advance.
