THIS HUGE MURAL graces a building wall on the south side of a classic little pocket park in the Fairhaven district of Bellingham. This image shows about two thirds of the mural which depicts the Fairhaven of about 1920, trolley car and all. The fellow in the Norwegian sweater is Gordie Tweit, a lifetime village character painted full size peering into the painting. Other folks depicted in the mural are folks who have contributed to the Fairhaven story over the years. I am honored to be included.
