Samantha is a senior in high school. It was perhaps 6 years ago that I loaned her a uke and gave her a few lessons. She has become a fine musician, prominent in her High School choir and writing and recording her own music. I can't really take any credit as her mother is a pro. musician and singer. I am building Sammie a concert Kasha ukulele as a gift from her parents. she has been coming to the workshop to watch the process.
today I got the sides attached to the soundboards of the two concerts I am building. Here is one of them in the assembly jig.
this picture was taken in the fitting phase. It is now glued and clamped into place with tentelones securely connecting it to the sound board. More tomorrow.
