The first tenor is out of the clamps and looking good.   Now it is clamped into this holding devise so that I can trim the edges with this router.

Here it is, boxed and trimmed at the edges.  This is a major step, but there is a ton of work yet to do.  Bindings, purfling, heel plate, fretboard, weeks of sanding and finishing, and finally installing the tuners, the nut and bridge, lots of work yet to go.
Tonight the second ukulele in the clamps getting it's back.  Thanks for the patience folks but they are coming along fast now.

Roger; The sound hole ring is Honduran Mahogany, the same wood that the neck is made of. It wants to match. The binding will probably be figured Australian Blackwood with black/white purfling on both sides. It is lighter in color than the rosewood and beautiful in its own right. The Rosewood, when finished is quite dark and loses much of its streakiness. It finishes beautifully, I think you will like it
