First the finish. It began with pore filling using Zpoxy and a very neat little scale I found on Amazon
It is critical that it be mixed exactly 50/50 I learned in a previous use. This time I had the solution, an amazing little scale that measures in grams. | First it weighed the empty cup, by touching" Tare' it returned to zero, I poured in resin until it read 298. then hardener until the scale read 600. got the perfect mix. This scale cost only $11.00. How is it possible. Works great. called a TOP-100 digital scale |
The mixed epoxy spreads very thinly over the wood, filling the tiny pores. this much covered the entire back.
