This back of quilted maple will stimulate imaginations.  The horns are my penciled addition.  Does it remind you of anyone.

  Heres the wood selected for our next build.  Maple back and sides, bearclaw Spruce soundboard and dark brown binding.  ought   to be a  stunner.

Meanwhile Rick is preparing to install the sides on his first uke.  here he paints glue on the butt block.

And today I got two ukes strung up. #170 and #171.  I am delighted with them both.

Lynne's tenor is Sycamore and Spruce with an Alaska Cedar neck, truly a blonde beauty.

Eva's tenor is East Indian Rosewood and Spruce with a Honduran Mahogany neck.
