The parts and pieces are all made. Now it is time to begin putting them together. Today the sides were put onto the tenor soundboard.
and most of the tentalones as well. The thin sides are glued to the soundboard, but those thin edges don't have much gluing surface. I like to get the tentalones on as soon as possible, Then the sides are firmly attached.
Tomorrow it will be the Baritone's turn. I don't have enough clamps to do more than one at a time.
Tomorrow I am going to ship off this lovely Bubinga and Bearclaw Spruce tenor to Torsten in Denmark. I am kind of sad to see it leave for its new home. I have been playing it for several weeks now and I really like it- but thrilled to be sending it across the Atlantic to Denmark.
