THE CLARO WALNUT for Dave's uke bent like butter today, It came out perfect and is clamped in the mold now until I need it. I had forgotten how nice Walnut is to bend. Much easier than Koa or Maple. I waited until last to bend this beautiful figured Walnut, kind of dreading the possibility of breaking a side. My fears were un-founded, it bent easier than the two prior koa ukes.
