I WAS ABLE TO get a lot done today-  here are a few pics.
Picture
Carefully planning the location for the Spanish Heel connection I drew the cut location on each neck
Picture
I was able to rough shape all three necks

Then I cut circles of thin cedar and glued them cross grained to support the sound hole.  I was able to get all the braceing glued on fronts and backs also.

And checking that the saw blade was cutting at perfect right angle, I cut the slots that will accept the sides.

Don't you love a good spokeshave.  This is a good way to hog off a lot of wood while feeling the shape of the neck form under your finger tips.  I love to use it.

Here I am cutting slopes on the rings thinning them down a bit.  I will finish sand these even further so that they will not be seen from outside the sound hole and feel finished to the touch.
