STRINGING THEM UP

Making some progress reducing the build list.  I got Olga's tenor strung up today,  Bill's yesterday.  Take a look at these new babies.  They both sound great,
This is Bill's , East Indian Rosewood body, Western Red Cedar soundboard.

And here is Olga's tenor, East Indian rosewood and Bearclaw Sitka Spruce soundboard.

Both of these tenors received MiSi pickups.  I install them after the strings are on.  It's an interesting process.

Carefully marking the center of the back strip, I drill a small pilot hole through the butt block

Now it is time for the step drill and the big hole.

And it is a big one.  A full half inch.

All went well,  Got the strings back on and tested it with the Amplifier.
 Perfect!  loud and balanced.
