Sunday afternoon I was in the mood. Got the hot pipe heated up to above 300 degrees and started bending.
Maybe it was the full moon, but I got perfect bends with both the East indian Rosewood and the Bubinga sides, and then went on to bend all the bindings for these two tenors. A great feeling to have it all done. Here are the side draing in their various molds.
Today Rick and I mounted the sides for both ukuleles and got the tentalones installed.
Here is Rick eyeballing where he will have to cut off the ends to make the side fit. He nailed it.
Sides fitted, glued and clamped. Tentalones on. A perfect fit.
