This was an extremely impressive Ukulele event, the tenth year that Daphne Roubini, owner of Ruby's Ukes, has put it on. The opening concert filled the large hall at the Croatian Cultural Center with 550 people, and I would guess 230 attended the two days of workshops. Excellent teachers, well organized in every respect.
Here is the diminutive but I suspect powerful impresario, Daphne Roubini "Ruby". This picture was taken in the waning hours of the Festival and it's founder and director was still smiling and friendly. Thanks Ruby, you are a wonder.
