There is just something special about forming the final shape of the hook I like to incorporate in my tenor ukuleles. I love to work on the shape until it feels just right, and much of that final work is done with this wonderful scraper
You just sit in a comfortable chair and scrape away with the variety of curves in the scraper carving away tiny shavings until it is just right. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Think I have it where I want it now. The next step will be lots of sanding through the grits. I will start at 120, probably quit at 600. This neck is Honduran Mahogany. Wonderful wood to work.
