TODAY I SPENT THE AFTERNOON in the workshop, a great activity on a cold winter day. I got the sides sanded down to final thickness, ready to bend. I sanded down the tops to .90, a good thickness for the construction phase but I will be sanding them down thinner after the ukes are built, .80 or less. I also got the necks sanded flat and smooth on their top surfaces and plotted out where the nuts go, where the cuts for the sides will be made. Lots accomplished, always a good feeling.
