Back in the workshop progress continues. The fretboards are all installed with frets intact, The "pinecone" head plates are glued on and the necks are being shaped and refined. One of the tasks is to carefully carve out the irregular margins of the headstock. I do this mostly with a fine rasp, sometimes a small saw, and finally with fine files. It is not as tedious as it looks and the results are lots of fun.
