The spalted maple peg head plates are a signature feature of Griffin Ukuleles. Each one is unique and different and we think quite lovely. We just finished a new supply of them shown in the following photo. Which do you like the best?
If you are on the build list for a ukulele, make a choice for your peg head and send me an email. #3 is not available, Stu Fuchs has already chosen it for his new baritone. All others are available-first come first served.
This is Bruce's Bubinga/Spruce, a lovely combination of woods. It will soon get its MiSi Pickup and be strung up. Gonna be a dandy. Bubinga is a lovely dense African wood.
And here is Eduardo's East Indian Rosewood and Spruce in the back. another lovely combination of woods that will make a great sounding ukulele.
