Paul came up from Seattle to pick up his new Kasha tenor.  I think he left happy.  He sure looks happy here.  His is a East Indian Rosewood with Redwood soundboard just like the one Stuart Fuchs purchased a couple of years ago.  the Redwood came from an old water tank atop a New York City building.  I makes rich sounding ukes.  Enjoy your new ukulele Paul

Paul compares his new uke with a chunk of the Redwood water tank that I resaw to make the soundboards.

Later in the afternoon  I had a little time to  work on Moe's  baritone.  Got the  back braces made and into the go-bar.  This will be a beautiful back of East Indian Rosewood.

Welcome to the Griffin uke family Paul! I've owned a total of 7 and presently own two tenors and a Kasha baritone #110 made the same time Stu Fuchs tenor #111was made. The other 4 were either given to family members or sold to very close friends with the caveat I get first chance buying them back if they ever want to sell.

I own a few other very high end ukes made by renowned luthiers; I always reach for a Griffin first because imo, they have that special sound no other instrument produces. And, always leaves me with a smile like your photo. I have little doubt this won't be your last one.

Yes, I'm very happy! The only problem was that I only got to play it for 2 hours after we got home. That was sufficient time for my new instrument and I to have a good conversation and get to know one another. The sound is fantastic. It suits my picking and singing style perfectly. I haven't chosen a name yet, but I think it will have something to do with its old redwood heritage.

Brian, I am enjoying my new ukulele for several hours each day! What a beautiful tone! Often a new instrument requires the player to make some changes. This is such a playable instrument that I haven't felt the need to make adjustments in myself. My hands seem to be guided by your design. Thank you!
