Out of the clamps, the back is securely glued on and I have trimmed the edges with the router.  Now It is time to sand them perfectly smooth in preparation for the router cut of the great notch that the binding will fit into.  "Journey"will get its first sanding. It was important to wear a mask during all of this as Cocobolo sawdust is bad stuff.

Here is your first look at the trimmed shape of the concert "Journey" I think she will be pretty,  Hope she sounds good.

This shot will show you the size difference between the tenor and the concert ukulele. #98 on the left, # 99 on the right.

the tenor peghead is out of the clamps and it is time to trim it to fit.  This is done with a fine rasp, a long time favorite tool of mine.

Journey and the tenor are looking good. Another great build cycle Brian. Those ending up with them will be getting super hi quality instruments.

If I didn't own so many Griffins, I'd be on that tenor in a snap.

Thanks Pat, These are coming along well. I am liking my decision to make just one at a time, or at least staggered by a few weeks. Allows me to concentrate on each one.
