And today I bent some sides.

a few days ago I was pleased to get the patches on the three tops.  Veneer patches up the middle seam and around the sound hole.

Before you know it I was carving the necks

And burning in the basic info

With my trusty wood burning device.

And then it was time to glue the necks and the soundboard together.  This is the caul and brads that position everything.  Once you have it straight, time for the glue and clamps.

What would we do without clamps?

So now all three are connected and the carbon fiber rods are epoxied into the necks.  It is time to start bending sides.

And here is the first one, bent by hand over the hot pipe.  Think I got a good bend here.  I will do another tomorrow after this has set.
