Yesterday Delia and Deb's ukes were festooned with brown tape as their bindings, freshly glued, were secured in their channels.
This morning the tape was removed and the scraper and sand paper put into acton

The results were outstanding. The bindings are secure, smooth, tight and handsome.
The next task is filling the void at the rear of the ukes with a sliver of wood that will match the binding.
