WHEW ! the sound ports are installed. Now I can box these ukes up.  I will be doing a bit of sanding on these with my finger in the hole to round them out and make them a little more friendly to the exploring finger, and I think to the eye.  I was going for contrast on the Maple/Juniper/walnut on the left so I used walnut.  The Brazilian/Englemann/Alaska Cedar in the center is all about contrast so I used maple.  The East Indian Rosewood/Redwood/Honduran Mahog on the right got a koa ring which matches almost perfectly the lighter stripe of the side.  It may differentiate a bit when finished but I wanted it to blend.
Next challenge-what bindings do I use.  If you have an opinion send me an email.  I have ebony, rosewood, maple, tiger stripe maple, tiger stripe Australian blackwood and black fabric.  What do you think?
