SORRY, BUT I HAVE NOTHING NEW TO REPORT TODAY. I put another application of French Polish on each of the tenors, smoothed up and rounded the fret ends with a tiny file- and that was about all. Well,I did draw a plan for a little wooden vise that will hold thin pieces of buffalo bone to the sander as I going it down for nuts and saddles. this will be a several day project- I will take photos of the process so you cam share in this idea.
I ran my index finger into the disc sander yesterday trying to shape a piece of buffalo bone, OUCH! decided I could put off making a holding device no longer. I think I sketched out a doable device to hold those little pieces of bone while I attempt to grind them down into even smaller pieces. That is tomorrow's project.
