Three new ukes are progressing nicely

#192 is a spalted maple/cedar Tenor for Nik in Bellingham,  #193 is an Indian Rosewood/Cedar Tenor for Vic in New York and #194 is a Rosewood and Sitka Baritone for Thom in California.  The parts are all made now, the tone bars and braces attached and when the sides are bent assembly will begin.

The work table was full with backs being joined, tone bars installed, the earlier three getting their final French polish.

This is the Baritone back being joined.  It is a lovely book matched piece of East Indian Rosewood

On the horizon is a new small but powerful ukulele amplifier.  Carson, a young and talented electrical engineer is working hard to develop a revolutionary tube amp powered by rechargeable lithium batteries.  Today he brought his prototype to show us.
