IT IS SURE NICE to have a talented grandson! Evan Christie lives in Seattle and is employed by a Letter Press printer that is known for their quality custom work. Evan moonlights at home on his small hand operated antique press doing custom design and print jobs. He calls his business House & Mill Press. He designed this cool card and printed it on heavy stock. They just came in the mail yesterday and I am delighted. I photographed it on the cedar soundboard of one of the tenors I am currently finishing.
JUST THE FACTS, spare and clean but gets the job done with style. The card edges have the same red/orange color that i use on my uke labels and that Evan used ont the card front. The card is standard length but narrower than the usual business card. I could not be more pleased . Evan is looking for business so if you want a unique business card contact him at www.houseandmill.com or write via snail mail 6706 13th ave nw seattle, wa 98117 email is [email protected]
PS if you have good eyes count the growth rings in that piece of cedar. This uke has 415 across the 9.5 inches of the lower bout if my magnifying glass is true.
