Nothing is more important to the playability of a uke than the feel of the neck. I finally hit upon the neck that I love on one of the last instruments I completed, the beautiful blonde #38. I just love to play it and it has become my go to uke because of the neck.

Here they are, in the process of being pared down with scraper, bow sander and various sanding devices. I measure the thickness at various frets and am using the neck on #38 as my model.
