Made some progress today. Got the frets on the tenors fretboard and finished up the sanding. also got the tentalones all glued on "Journey"
Before glueing onto Cocobolo it is wise to wipe the glue area with Acetone to reduce the amount of oil in the wood. I am now ready to glue on the second course of tentalones.
Look at how much oil comes off on the paper towel dipped in Acetone.
Here we are-glued up. Clothespins work fine, especially when improved with a rubber band wrapped around them to add grip. Next, the side sound port.
