THE TAMBOS are structurally done. Now all they need is some final sanding and shaping of the neck, and the finish. Then I can attach the tuners, drill the holes for the strings on the far wall of the round rim, slip the storeboughten bridge under the strings and see what I have got. These are tenor instruments. They generate a lot of banjo sound and are really lots of fun. To be consistent with their character I will put multicolored Aurora re-entrant strings on them to give them truly a festive air.
