I have been playing this just completed tenor for a couple of days now.  It may be the best uke I have made. Wonderful tone, perfect intonation, incredible sustain and playability.  Sometimes you just get it right.

The soundboard is Western Red Cedar from a marvelous log that I split planks from fifty years ago.  Amazing tight grain, wonderful wood.

The wood  for the back and sides were sent to me from Finland with the request to make a ukulele with it.  I was able to resaw it and was amazed at what I found.  Beautiful wood.  It is European Birch.

Bookmatching pieces for the back revealed spectacular grain

'with contrasting binding and a side sound port this ukulele is as pretty as any I have built, but the true delight is its sound.  Rich, warm, responsive with its UkeLogic clear fluorocarbon low G string set.

It looks amazing! When it sounds how it looks it must be wonderful. It would be great to hear it.
