I liked that first uke made with Birch from Finland so very much that I think I will make another for myself. Here is the wood I selected today.
European Birch back and sides and a Western Red Cedar soundboard just like the first "Finn"
Or perhaps this sound board. Cedar from the same tree but without the dark stripes. both of these soundboards have growth rings so fine that the nine inch lower bout of a tenor will show 450 years of growth.
